At Whisker Foundation, every whisker matters. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue and sanctuary devoted to saving, rehabilitating, and rehoming abandoned, neglected, and at-risk cats across the Puget Sound region. Whether it’s rescuing cats from unsafe situations, providing patient rehabilitation, or helping kittens find their forever homes, our mission is rooted in compassion, community, and care.

Every year, millions of cats enter shelters — and far too many never get the chance they deserve. Whisker Foundation was created to change that story. We rescue cats from overcrowded shelters, unsafe environments, and emergency situations, giving each one the medical attention, nourishment, and love they need to thrive. From frightened strays to medically fragile cats, we believe each life is worth fighting for.
Our Sanctuary: A Safe Haven for Cats in Need
Our sanctuary in Everett, WA offers rescued cats a peaceful, enriching environment where they can recover and flourish. Each space is designed for comfort and socialization, with cozy resting spots, sunny windows, and outdoor “catios” where our residents can safely enjoy the fresh air.
